Flaming Acorn is a tiny team of creators who are all family and all deal with health challenges–be they seen or unseen. We create games that are wholesome, cozy, inclusive, and that upend player expectations. We believe in growing our players’ and our own joy by accessing the world through curiosity and playfulness. Society tends to shunt aside and muffle the outsiders, misfits, and those it considers expendable such as the medically challenged. We believe our stories matter, too.

In 2022, Flaming Acorn founder Suzanne (Zana) Warr released Shell Break, a 2D platformer mini game that’s available to play on itch.io in your browser–no downloads needed.
